Hold modifiers together

For Win + Shift + S, hold Win and Shift, then press S. Release the keys after the action starts.

Alt+Tab

Repeat the last key when needed

For switchers such as Alt + Tab, keep Alt held and tap Tab until the window you want is selected.

Win+1–9

Ranges mean a choice

Win + 1–9 means use one number from that range to target the app in the matching taskbar position.
